We're looking for a motivated, dependable, and professional Administrative Assistant to join our team!

Compensation: $18 - $20/hour (based on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the day-to-day operational responsibilities of affordable housing community. 
  • Assists Community Manager with delegation and dispersion of maintenance responsibilities, opening and closing work orders.
  • Answers phone calls, takes messages, schedules appointments (for residents and site staff), checks and responds to voice mails.
  • Provides state of the art customer service for current and prospective residents.
  • Collects rent, processes billing statements, posts payments, and deposits receipts.
  • Creates application packets and enter applicants into system.
  • Maintains an organized and professional workspace to effectively managing and processing paperwork, and ensuring all staff, residents and prospective residents feel welcome.
  • Orders and maintains administrative office supplies.
  • Communicates professionally, respectfully and collaboratively as well as acts with the highest standards of ethical conduct at all times. 


Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have complete knowledge of all phases of leasing and resident retention or be willing to learn processes and procedures.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, time management, conflict resolution, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Required to sit for prolonged periods; exposed to visual display terminal for prolonged periods; dexterity and precision required to operate computer and office machinery.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (typing, creating memos/letters, basic excel and power point) and ability to navigate internet.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Mastery of English language.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
