Position:

Data Center Engineer – VMware & Cisco UCS Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Data Center Engineer with hands-on expertise in VMware virtualization, Cisco UCS server architecture, and enterprise data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual networking/storage.
• Architect and administer Cisco UCS infrastructure including Fabric Interconnects, UCS Manager, Service Profiles, and integration with SAN/NAS storage.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex virtualization and server issues across the data center.
• Implement and enforce best practices for data center operations, security, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with networking, storage, and application teams to ensure seamless infrastructure performance.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and capacity planning for VMware and Cisco UCS systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Required
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Data Center – Required
• 5+ years of experience managing VMware environments in enterprise data centers
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco UCS B-Series and C-Series servers, and related networking/storage components
• Strong understanding of virtualization, compute, networking, and storage in a converged infrastructure
• Proficient in tools such as vCenter, UCS Manager, VMware Update Manager, and Cisco Intersight
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerCLI, Python, etc.) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
