Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate audio, lighting, video, stage, and projection equipment at internal ( WCC ) and external client events.
  • Maintain Media Services' video editing systems, videocameras, accessories, and location lighting equipment.
  • Consult with clients regarding video productions and the use of stage and presentation technologies.
  • Maintain Media Services' video archive.
  • Assist in keeping records and statistics on equipment used in campus events.
  • Regular attendance on campus is required for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Hours/Schedule:
    Evening, weekend, and early morning availability is mandatory.

    Physical Demands:
  • Ability to operate hydraulic work platform up to a height of 25 feet.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Two years' experience using professional nonlinear video editing software (such as Premiere, Final Cut, or Resolve) to deliver polished video projects to satisfied clients.
  • Two years' experience using production videocameras and media to acquire flawless video sources.
  • Two years' experience successfully managing video file data to avoid data loss or confusion.
  • Two years' experience creating multipoint lighting setups for individuals and groups, onstage, in studio, and on location.
  • Two years' experience in live event audio production, including hardware- and software-based audio mixer usage, wired and wireless microphone usage and placement, powered speaker and floor monitor usage and placement, interfacing audio and video systems, and interconnecting balanced and unbalanced audio equipment.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting stage and presentation technologies such as projectors, pipe-and-drape, hearing assistance systems, and prompters.
  • Experience converting and recording various computer and video transport formats ( VGA , HDMI , SDI ) for live events.
  • Experience live switching a multicamera setup for recording and live streaming.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate hydraulic work platform up to a height of 25 feet.
  • High degree of interpersonal communications skills.
  • Evening, weekend, and early morning availability is mandatory.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $20.79
