Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf course in Dedham, Massachusetts is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
Participate in a diverse range of activities involving every aspect of daily golf course maintenance and numerous course improvement projects. Including pesticide applications, top dressing, hand watering, golf course setup and supervising small crews. You will work closely with and report to the Golf Course Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendents. Upon completion of a successful internship/education, full time positions can be made available.
Requirements:
Enrolled in a Certificate or Degree program from an accredited establishment relating to Turf, Agronomy, or Horticulture.
2+ years of golf course experience preferred, but not required.
Special Requirements
Self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong desire to advance within the golf course industry.
Able to perform physical demands of the profession.
Compensation:
$20 – $22 per hour.
