Job Description



The Video Producer is responsible for the creation of a variety of promotional and educational videos for Alto-Shaam and its range of products, programs and services. To ensure a successful project, this position will work collaboratively with requester(s) and marketing and technical publications leadership to align video projects with strategic purposes. The Video Producer will execute video projects from this collaborative concept development through to final delivery using skills in videography, animation and editing. 

The ideal candidate for a Video Producer would be able to do the following:

  • Collaborative Concept Development: Collaborate with marketing, technical publications and various departments to brainstorm and develop engaging video concepts that highlight Alto-Shaam’s products and end-to-end services. Execute creative and strategic direction for videos as provided by the project requestor and marketing leadership.
  • Production: Oversee creative video production in alignment with direction provided by creative leadership, including storyboarding, filming, and editing. Coordinate schedules, locations, and resources required for video shoots. Support the guidance of on-camera talent during shoots in collaboration with creative leadership. Support creative leadership in the production process of animated product launch videos by providing video specification requirements to the agency.
  • Editing and Post-Production: Edit video footage using industry-standard software, adding graphics, animation, sound design, and special effects as needed to enhance storytelling.
  • Content Optimization: Work with digital marketing to optimize video content for various platforms including social media, website, and email.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, technical publications and technical service, to produce various types of content, including how-to product support (operation, installation, service), customer success stories, employee activities, product education and promotion, foreign language translation/captioning, trade show and industry events, customer training, sales support and more.
  • Livestream Video: Plan, execute, direct, record and distribute webinar and livestream events.
  • Ongoing Research: Stay current on latest video trends and research equipment needs for video production processes and within the video studio, as business and industry evolve.

Qualifications



EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have a strong video portfolio demonstrating capabilities in production and editing, along with proficiency in industry-standard software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.

SKILLS and

QUALIFICATIONS

:
  • Bachelor’s degree in production, broadcasting or equivalent education and relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in TV, video or digital creative roles
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite production tools and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with video editing and audio recording in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Audio/Visual technologies, including sound systems for broadcast/live events
  • Experience with exporting/delivering various Video Codecs for display, distribution and social channels.
  • Advanced knowledge of DSLR and Cine cameras
  • Understanding of Photography principles: Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO
  • Understanding of Cinematography principles: Composition, Lighting and Framing
  • Experience with Storyboarding, Shot List creation and Scripting
  • Organized File Management system and redundant file archives
  • Creative thinking and ability to present ideas in large group settings
  • Willing to contribute ideas and experiment with various creative treatments
  • Available nights, weekends, and travelling as necessary.
